Distributed Audio Systems

Distributed Audio systems generally utilize the existing Sound System (Stereo) equipment for the music source and amplifier capabilities.

The basic difference between a Central and Distributed Audio system is that in a Distributed environment volume controls are strategically located in or around each room served by music.

This eliminates having to run back to the Sound System to make volume adjustments however, in order to make music source changes such as changing from FM radio to CD you must still go to the Sound System location to do so.
