Indoor Accents
Mayent’s interior accent lighting systems are considered low voltage lighting,
which inherently has more flexible applications.
Low voltage lighting can be used in places, and in ways that high voltage lighting could not be
safely used..
It is amazing how lighting in the right places can transform a living space .
There are no hard and fast rules governing proper placement and
coverage of accent lighting, it is a matter of training and experience
that makes the difference.
Fixtures
There are many interesting and unique and custom fixtures that
 are available or can be custom fabricated to really
bring out the personality in your home or work environment.
We have been able to make wonderful lighting
systems out of materials that would normally
be prohibited. For example, wrought iron chandeliers,
free hanging accent lights, interior in-counter, under cabinet, and pantry lights that
automatically turn on upon opening the doors. Imagine being able to actually see in those dark places in the kitchen .
Many antique light fixtures would be unsafe to use for regular high voltage applications and would never comply with the modern electrical codes but can be retrofitted to accept safer low voltage wiring and bulbs.
